Prior to version 3.0, FEAview is free for any use,
non-commercial or commercial. FEAview is not open source.
FEAview version 3.0 is now available. It fixes some serious problems
and adapts the program to Windows Vista and Windows 7. We are offering it for a
price of $124.95 USD. The program may be purchased from within the downloaded program.
Download, install, and run the program. Go to the program Help dialog, select the
About FEAview item, and select 'purchase' from the combo in the lower right side of
this dialog. You will complete an online purchase transaction with eSellerate, a Digital
River company.
An invoice will be mailed to you. You do not need to re-download the program. The program
saves your serial number and activates itself as part of the purchase transaction.
Purchasing and activating the program gives you the ability to read and display MSC.Nastran
OUTPUT2 files. The un-purchased and/or unactivated program can read and build models; it just
can't read or display solver outputs.
